Title

Bacteriocinogenic activity of Lactobacillus Acidophilus

Abstract

The aim of the work was to screen bacteriocin-producing strains from among 20 Lactobacillus acidophilus strains. It was found that such compounds are produced by strains with the symbols 0.3, 336, B. The protein compounds showed antagonistic activity towards Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853 strains. The studies aimed at the characterization of chemical properties of these compounds and optimal conditions for their action are continued.
