Estimation of consumer preferences on the market of meat and meat products in the south-eastern macroregion of Poland

Abstract

Influence of chosen social-economic factors on the consumers preferences in the way of structure of consumption of meat and meat products. The investigations were carried out by inquiry method in the south-eastern macroregion of Poland. Poultry meat, becon and sousages are the most popular meat products. Price, produce country, brand and information on package are the most important marketing factors for consumers. Advertising is not important factor for consumers of meat and meat products.
