The physiological state of immobilized yeast cells in ethanol fermentation

Abstract

The influence of different alginate concentration and initial yeast concentration on the physiological state of cells in ethanol fermentation were investigated. Concentration of Al-alginate, Ca-alginate and initial cell population had influence on viability of cells.
