Title

Antioxidant activity and content of resorcinol of lipids in hybrids strain of winter triticale

Abstract

The grains of 5 new strains hybrid of winter triticale and their parental forms were the material for the study. The samples was analyzed by thin-layer chromatography and spectrometry UV -VIS. The level of alkylresorcinols in the 3 strains hybrids the greater part was significantly less in compare with the both parental forms, and in the 2 others was higher than that forms. The antioxidant properties of alkylresorcinols were examined using free radical scavenging method against stable 2,2 – diphenyl – 1- picrylhydrazyl radical (DPPH*). The hybrids displayed higher antioxidant activity as compared to the triticale maternal components, but lower than paternal forms.
