Selected elements contents of carrot juices

Abstract

The paper presents the results of the determinations of selected trace and toxic elements contents of carrot juices. The analyses were carried out using the atomic absorption spectroscopy method. Sodium, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, copper, zinc, lead and cadmium contents were determined. The estimation of the levels of these elements in the analysed carrot juices was made in comparison with the literature and legal recommendations.
