Title
The chemical composition of essential oil destillated from linden blossoms
Abstract
The essential oil was obtained by hydrodestillation from linden blossoms (Tilia cordata Mill, and/or Tilia platyphyllos Scop.). The yield was 0,014%. The fractions, that were performed by FC (flash chromatography), were analysed by GC and GC/MS methods. About 80 compounds were identified. Aliphatic hydrocarbons (42,19%) – tricosan (18,12%), heneicosan (10,06%), pentacosan (6,08%) – were the main compounds, we also identified heksahydrofamesylaceton (4,66%), linalool (3,88%), damascenon (1,27%) and others.
