Vitamin concentrates in present-day

Abstract

In the vast majority of developed countries, including Poland, consumption of vitamin covers the recommended minimal doses. However, it is well known, that intake of antioxidant vitamin complexes, in the doses exceeding minimal level, may benefit human health. That explains, observed in the last years, growing popularity of multivitamin products. They are produced using as a vitamin source both natural vitamin concentrates and synthetic vitamin substitutes. In the work the attempt was made to demonstrate the role of such products in the diet, possible effect on human health as well as their position on food market.
