Title

Yielding of czech and polish cultivars of naked oats

Abstract

Studies were conducted in 1996-1997 at Experimental Station Swojec in Wrocław on light soil, based on micro-plot experiments of randomised complete block design with four replications. There were four cultivars of naked oats: two Czech – Abel, SGK-7555 and two Polish – Akt and STH-2694. Polish cultivar Akt gave highest yield of grain – 443,5g/m2. Plant height, panicle lenght, straw yield, above-ground yield and percentage of grain in above-ground yield did not differ significantly.
