Assessment of nutritional values of dinners prepared in academic canteen

Abstract

The proper human nutrition, defined as providing the organism with all the nutrients and energy, necessary for normal functioning. Environment exposed to nutrition mistakes is academic youth by reason of irregular life style connected with high intellectual and physical activity. Dinner is the main meal consumed during the day and it should provide demand on nutrition components. The analysis of the midday meals, regarding consumption norms, follows academic canteen example, was the aim of the work. 25 meals served in canteen in Technology University of Koszalin were investigated.
