Title

The European Agreement and the Final Act of the GATT Uruguay Round and the Polish market of agri-food products

Abstract

Beginning from February 1-st, 1994 the European Agreement is in force between Poland and European Communities with their member countries. Poland and 120 other co-signatories signed the Final Act of Uruguay Round of GATT on April 15th, 1994. Both agreements have essential importance for the creation of international connections for Polish economy and for regulation of Polish economic contacts with co-signatories. In the report was presented the integration problems between Polish agricultural – food industry and food economy of European Communities and also the liberalization requirements of international food goods trade resulting from signed agreements.
