Consumer behaviour towards food and nutrition

The analysis of influence of different factors on behaviour of consumers in relation to foods and nutrition has been carried out. It was proved, that for young educated people the main determinants in choice of most of products are: taste, freshness and quality of product. The influence of food health had greater meaning for women, for elderly and for consumers with higher education than for the others. The economical factors played essential role in group of pensioners and unemployed. Nutritional education having in view propagating of the healthy model of nutrition, especially among young people, should lean on qualitative and sensory features, and demand the strict cooperation between nutritionists and producers of food.
